There's always too much going on at once. I've lost track of the amt of times MC and ML were badly assaulted and no one got arrested. That man bullies ML2 cause of their gender expression and beats everyone that his gf is interested in, and said gf allows him to torment them and even hit ML1 in the head W/ A BRICK causing blindness, cause he didn't like her back and DID SHE GET PUNISHED?!?! There's always these types that make MC and ML suffer endlessly so readers can cry but it's overmuch.
Don't really like that MC's being called lucky, but it's actually all his hard work being taken for granted. That's just sad. None of the elders sitting+profiting from his hard work even bat an eye for him except to say he's lucky+look down on him. The lack of faith they have in their disciples shows itself over+over no matter what they say, sm so that it's palpable. Can't really say I like incompetent elders like that.
