BEWARE THERE IS A BITTERSWEET ENDING
Her whole life she's been enamored, and awestruck of the concept of space, one day she manages to make contact to an alien through telepathy. The next day she discovers, the alien has taken the body of her unrequited crush/love whom had deeply wronged her.

The characters are so well written and although fantasy/sci-fi these can be taken as a sort of metaphor for the feelings people feel in the average reality.
