It's difficult to piece together the story from the translations but FL is from an ancient group of people and she has dream powers, and is tasked with waking up the 'cursed' prince who is in a coma or the emperor will kill her. Prince (ML) has trauma as they delve into the layers of his dreams and FL helps him eventually wake up around Ch 30. Ofc he's attached to her now, and he also sees the world in black n white and can't see anyone's face except for FL?
I think it's the same author as the Otome game one with Penelope, and I like this FL! She's strong-willed, honest, level-headed, detached, and very logical. I think FL's "parasitic codependence" as another user said addresses the dichotomy of their relationship and the mourning was handled well. The characters are messy/contradictory in the way that real people are, which is refreshing to see. Honestly, dunno who ML is, they should've just gone the GL route lol bc n
Classic FL thinking the ML likes the OG FL but this story is enjoyable! It's funny that magic is random English phrases lol. The ML cut off the FL's hair in their first meeting but now he's a total simp for her (she just doesn't realize it)
Honestly 1000% stereotypical isekai where FL had previously been crazy obsessed over the prince and now only cares to studies (cue his jealousy) and ofc her dad/brother endlessly dote on her and the ML just loves her at first sight pretty much so there's no tension? A truly toxic and possessive ML who I'm guessing made a deal with the devil to obtain mindwashing powers etc over everyone so that he can give the FL everything she wants (although she just wants to go back to Earth to her previous life). I don't think this will have a happy ending....
