personally, loved it until she didn't choose 2nd ml. made zero sense afterwards and just dropped (there's a nice twist ig but not enough for me to stay). HOWEVER, everyone thinks she's terminally ill and will die soon, so they all interpret her actions as selflessness of a poor dying girl who was mistreated and misunderstood. she's actually silly and sweet and planning to run away lol

mc is weak but his childhood friend is extremely strong and she believes he is stronger than her because he taught her basic magic when they were younger (and called him master). he uses his wit to solve problems and to hide the fact he’s not s-rank like he pretends he is. all and all, pretty basic. mid since bro gets found out way too fast as a fake hero

mc is a failed director who dies after meeting with one of his old actresses. he goes back in time somehow and there’s a ghost (one of the best directors ever) that helps him with stuff (more like bantering). there’s a system telling mc to make shitty crazy movies and he tries to do it, but everyone misunderstands his work and think he’s some genius director who plans everything. his face is apparently scary/intimidating?
- comedy, fantasy, kind of dumb mc
bro gets reincarnated as the 2nd ml in his sister's fav novel/game, so he doesn't know jack shit about the lore. he's super timid though and a pushover. he's not a strong guy, but people do assume his actions make him incredibly benevolent and kind. it's okay for a quick read ig but it doesnt have many misunderstandings. overall great story though! very bromancey

Technically Overlord, it’s really famous but it does fall into this trope. He’s OP but his actual personality is weak-minded and human-like.
There all these eleborate plans but he doesn’t really understand them but always manages to make everything work as if he planned them from the start.

I think "Binbou Reijou no Kanchigai Seijo Den" would fit this list, everyone thinks the fl is a saint but most of her actions are out of self-interest (e.g. she gives the villagers healing medicine bc if they stay healthy, they can continue paying taxes)
you don’t have weak hero on here, right? i think gray is a good contender! he’s great at winning fights because he’s really crafty/intelligent, but physically super weak and delicate-looking so people (especially in the beginning, when he hadn’t built up a reputation yet) would doubt his capabilities and keep challenging him.
he 100% warrants his reputation of being ruthless and scary, but i really love the sheer disparity between that intimidating reputation vs. how small and effeminate he is <3
