20th Century / Japan / Taisho Era / Yakuza / Great Kanto Earthquake
> About the ending...well, it's an open one. I don't know if more episodes were meant to come out but for some reason they stopped there. The best thing would be to read the manga, but unfortunately it's not scanlated.
> Note: on Baka-Updates it's said that 1923 is Showa era, but it's Taisho.
20th Century / Japan / Showa Era

hi, will u recommend stories that has the same theme like requiem of the rose king? gender understading and tragic fate is what im looking for, thanks!
Oh, that one is unique...truth is, I'd also like to read more stories like that! I can't think of any with the exact same theme...but maybe you could try Versailles no Bara, Versailles of the Dead, Kiss Me Princess, Shounen Oujo.
Btw, you might like “All Colors of Snow” in a European setting
And “The Scarlet Rose” too
Really helpful list thank you! It allows me to find historical stories by definition avoiding the fantasy/ another world one (not that I dislike them, but it’s hard to classify now x’D)
Oh, I'm glad if it's helpful!
Btw, thanks for your suggestion...I'll definitely read those stories! (●'◡'●)ノ
The only courtesy that I ask is to not copy my lists please, like the title, style, content and, of course, description and comments when I leave some.
Thanks!
