Oh, that one is unique...truth is, I'd also like to read more stories like that! I can't think of any with the exact same theme...but maybe you could try Versailles no Bara, Versailles of the Dead, Kiss Me Princess, Shounen Oujo.
Btw, you might like “All Colors of Snow” in a European setting
