the journey of a woman becoming a knight. this story spans quite a few years of the cast fighting a war, and then deciding what to do in the aftermath. featuring: a masc mc (with abs!), battlefields (with swords AND with words), years of pining between the main charas, and, of course, a happy ending despite the endless trials of misogyny. despite the weird pacing, the ending is so righteous that i’m starting to think it warrants a rec lol! 7.5/10

many stories employ the “boss falls in love with secretary” trope, but this particular manhwa takes it to its farthest logical conclusion - how can you possibly pursue someone you have power over? i love iseop so bad — neurotic, obsessive, full of baggage, and kinda pathetic. all while being a golden executive director in his family’s business… all while struggling with his inferiority complex towards his stunningly efficient secretary. so good, so funny!! 10/10
ongoing. historical romance, drama
ms. pendleton is london’s premier matchmaker, tasked to set up the rich and eligible bachelor, mr. dalton. the official translation is worth the wait—they speak in language suited for high society, very heavily inspired by jane austen and her contemporaries! can’t resist a dashing male lead who hopelessly pines after a woman who has her life together. 8/10 (for now!)
