a tightly written shounen, which is an insane way to describe a shounen imo. pacing is incredible, cast of characters is incredible, the themes are woven tightly into the story and easy to understand through repetition and amazing fight scenes. had some of the most breathtaking art in a manhwa i’d ever seen!!!! the energy of the art captures the fights and i was literally captivated. 10/10!
incomplete (on hiatus forever). drama, slice of life high school
jisoo moves to the boonies because of her dad’s money problems and falls into step with a fragile and dysfunctional friend group. the art is gorgeous and the banter is sarcastic and mean-spirited in a way that feels silly and real. points off for some mild homophobia moments. kinda sad this story will never really reach its end but i think the three arcs are a good read! 6/10

i like that the story invited you to ponder how unreliable our narrator is. she’s a witch, a famous prisoner who broke out of jail, a scoundrel. escorting her to her fate is the renowned war hero who saved the country from doom. but between the two of them, are they more alike than different? who gets to assign the role of hero and villain? bc of these themes, our main charas have this amazing chemistry and tension!! 8/10
