nah this is so cute. and it's also great how the drama is realistic- like there's a little bit of petty jealousy amongst characters, but it's never too dramatic or like horrible, and people still remain friends + makeup regardless of them.
IM SUPER EARLY IN so tbh maybe this will turn out in a way that's not my cup of tea, but so far, the FL and her family REALLY speaks to me
probably bc this isnt rlly romance, but it's crazy reading this shit with the cast of a furry dad, a public-pooper eccentric rich lady, and a cheater husband who may or may not be a cartel runner w how things r going on
lowkey... imma say it. i dont care for the romance. like i do not care if the two MCs interact at all. to me i just...couldnt get into their affection. BUT i LOVE the plot. i read the novel and the world building and plot are actually really interesting even though i was initially against reading it due to romance being a main plottone. both of the MCs have a rap sheet longer than a cvs receipt i stg- they literally do whatever they want as they see fit im crying it's hilarious asf
i binged this all the other day, and even now i cannot remember for the fucking life of me what this plot was about bc my brain is actually mush from reading so many storylines back to back. but i do remember liking this one, and feeling as if it wasn't a bad read.
the rating is surprisingly low?? i get that a lot of people find the ML to be one-dimensional, but honestly, i don't think he's that flat. like he's likeable, and i don't mind rooting for him at all, and i feel like he's not one-dimensional in a way that interferes with the plot or drags the romance out. he's legit like, a side-character to the MC's epic adventures and friendships, and i'm into it bc everyonce in a while we get a little filler episode of what he's up to.
tbh. most well-paced romantic development i've read LOL. and i love how it's legit MC's main adventures and personal development + mystery adventures with like, the prince being kinda there until he starts gaining a consciousness LOLLL. prince isn't cardboard cutout of an asshole personality, either, since he's like, lowkey just kinda a dick regardless, but is like, actually competent and always gave MC fair chance the way he does with everyone. also love how romance isn't dragged out w denial
