yes the mc is a girl.. idk if she's considered a badass but ig she's not weak

mc is extremely smart and definitely unhinged lol.. and the plot is REALLY interesting. it is not incest btw although the author makes it seem like that at first. (spoilers but no the mc is not sexually or romantically interested in her adopted mom or adopted brothers she does kiss them though because of her powers)
