i'm genuinely surprised by how good this is. the characters themselves are not particularly groundbreaking, but the setting works really well. it really feels like the world is a game rather than it being a "hyper-realistic MMORPG fantasy world." good shit. (8/10)

like, objectively, it's not that good. but man you really root for karina reading this story. and the male lead? that's a goat right there. even when they meet again for the first time and he doesn't like her -- he sees her situation and still offers her a safe place to stay in his home. the friend, too? goated as hell.
