This is such an emotional roller-coaster. Every single character has its own flaws and backstory that still takes roots in their present. Every action and reaction is affected by what happened and who they were in the past. And this is honestly pretty impressive and rare to find, especially in BLs. Everyone is obv crazy, but understandably.
I liked the first part of the story better than the second. Maybe it's just me, but I liked it better when they were insulting each other, not all lovey dovey. I think they would've made better rivals or enemies rather than lovers.
Not a big fan od hystorical stories, but Mo Xiang Tong Xiu does em best. I just can't not enjoy every single chapter.
