1. Jiwoo hid a part of himself cuz fear of being different, but learned there's more like him, he accepted his power, grew n nurtured it, happy 24/7
2. Jiwoo couldn't make friends cuz of this power, but after self-acceptance, Jiwoo could make friends thanks to this power
3. cuz of his power that he made friends, when Jiwoo lost his powers, he felt anxious, now he has no reason to be friends w them, but that's not true. You earned your friends cuz of you & not your powers
Penelope: original villainess' & her story intertwines, she's smart, witty, has personality & experience outside of this game
there's an emotional conntection & experience while reading it
She's strong, outspoken, kind, charming even when facing challenges when nothing is in her favor
I love the strong front she puts, as well as when she just can't care about what others think abt her & let go of her facade w words/story that resonates w her
love the badass moments but Something I think I need to point out about Jinwoo that carried this story
is the fact that this man's heart remained the same
bro be leveling up & getting better than others, but he doesn't show off (+cool pts)
he sticks with his personal goals & cares abt his friends & family more than anything
They keep him moving forward & it's for family that he pulls out his badass cards~

I love them
Layer upon layer of layers, it really builds up well to this point AAAAAAAAHHHHH
I didn't even realize cuz of how slow the burn was =w= <3
there's still some things I'm not 100% sure with the system and the past, but that's besides the point
personal take, I love these aspects:
- Astaire simply wants to be with Kayla, and does it in a playful, mischievous way only for her, teasing
- Kayla pushes him away for his sake, obsession over her will ruin him, but Astaire becomes her weakness, combined with his obsession over her, sympathy and guilt for him, it becomes difficult for Kayla to look away from Astaire
- the one-sided first kiss they shared felt so quiet and special & precious in a sense, novelty, romantic? His pure instinct
