If a story can manage to make my eyes water, then it deserves a spot in this list.

*unique art & storytelling
*Life, loneliness, death, nature, and belonging all these elements will be explored
* non traditional love/ shounen ai
*thought provoking

SO much happens in this guys.. almost too much ...

-unique/original concept
-switches between elderly adult mc's perspective to his younger self
-plot heavy & thiiiick, be prepared it requires patience
-unreliable narrator??? mystery type story
-a lot of characters to keep up with / love triangle
-deep messages & themes.. potentially triggering
-the ending will be polarizing for readers... U might hate it

-Holy moly color theory gooo off. The art is so specific & beautiful that you could find yourself reading just for that aspect.

-The bl for this one isn't the main focus of the story & instead you are immersed in a deep mystery with hints of supernatural elements. Each chapter is pretty dense with dialogue/writing so I don't recommend if you want an easy/fast read.
