no one talks abt this and i'll never know why. made me cry so many times, so heart wrenching oh my god. the overarching themes in the story are so like well implemented that it plays out so nicely. although there are a few things i wish were a little different (kinda wish mag held a stronger grudge...), it deals with guilt in a not-dismissive way unlike any other isekai i've read.

read this a while ago but i can't help but think this fits perfectly in this list. a heart-wrenching story which had me crying at times: amazing character arcs and all and all a loveable female cast! with like 2(?) FLs! no but seriously, such an amazing (but angsty) read. though i will say that i've stopped keeping up with the story (because i tend to not read super long stories), it's still an AMAZING read.

i won't lie, the entire cast is somewhat flat except for philomel. and i mean philomel is an amazingly written character. it's so sad to think of what she had to go through, and i love this take on isekai. she discovers a book detailing the rest of her life: but she is genuinely, actually, terrified because she knows her future is bleak. i love her development, i honestly stopped caring for other characters
Art: 9/10 (pretty but translation is terrible)

i don't really get the hate for this plot. sure, the princess is genuinely terrible, but she isn't the MC. i find the main character really loveable, and if anything, i find this story to be a critique of the regular "overprotective father over lost daughter trope". the plot is interesting and the artist can actually draw kids!! i do get that the plot is a little murky atm but i find that more interesting.

read this a while ago but it's an amazing story. portrays trauma and healing in the way it should: slowburn, yet it doesn't drag on. i can't exactly recall the specifics of the story, and I do think that it's come to be a little longer than it should, but it was a story that had me in tears often.
