MC is trapped inside of a horror game where the ML is a devil which needs to kill to stay alive. The romance is lacking but the art, uniqueness, and execution are so excellent. The way the author can convey genuine fear and emotion with correct pacing is done so so so well, I love the way we see the FL's expression change, It tiptoes around the concept of 'psychotic is attractive' in a way which makes it seem not obnoxious. Art is GORGEOUS.

the story itself is NOT angsty in the slightest but you will cry for these characters. fl's insecurities are present throughout the whole story and serve as actual plot points! they aren't fixed in a single day. same thing with the MLs trauma: it's realistic and not romanticized in the slightest. but abigail learning to be a mother is what takes the cake. this mother-daughter duo is my favorite ever.

will have you bawling at times. such a cute couple which is all fluff but you feel so, SO badly for these two. my god both these characters are the biggest green flags you'll ever see. getting into this i was expecting it to be sloppily written but it's the type of story with well-used misunderstandings and satisfying conclusions: the moment they confessed to each other had me in tears. it's not an extreme plot or anything, but not boring!

the fl is super duper nuanced, and my heart genuinley broke for her considering how bad she wanted to escape from this marriage. this manhwa is FULL of ml POV and i luv it so so much, it cleans up misunderstandings from the get-go and makes the character's actions all that much more ironic. the pacing of the romance is sorta weird(?) but the plot itself, despite being a generic revenge, is really really good.

proof you don't need a convoluted plot or etiologies for the motives in your story. this story, on its own, is super basic: but its the banter full of emotion befitting each character that makes it stand out. i rlly liked the coloring style despite the simple art! tsundere ml done AMAZINGLY well x never-giving-up fl. very cute, very cliche, very good. ml has massive tits

i think the 9.1 rating stems from the thought that schuer is the stereotypical "aloof, stupid" fl. she really isn't once you get past the first few chapters. schuer is cringy, honest, always beeming: but whats different is that the people around her, including herself and ml, recognize that. but schuer doesn't care about anyone's opinion but the duke's: so what's "stupid and shameful" becomes so, so endearing.

FL is clumsy, antisocial, self-conscious but done so so well. You end up rooting for her--she's not like the stereotypical "quiet girl thats friends with a bunch of hot guys"--the author is great at characterizing her, giving her a voice, not excusing her actions that harm her friends, and portraying her struggles with confidence rather than romanticizing it. her bff actually has a purpose and isn't forgotten half-way through!

really sweet, doesn't take itself seriously, but on the low key eliot is written pretty good! i have super low standards for bl isekai but putting aside the humorous misunderstandings and coincidences; eliot is empathetic and thoughtful in an extremely relatable way. the author is great at making you root for him and making him really really likeable. ml is... we'll see, seems cute! the art is sorta wack sometimes but there is jaw-dropping panels.

Genuinely AMAZING. The twists the plot the storyline the art the characters and the MC's unhinged personality is so, so, SO refreshing. If you hate angst, stay away but if you love such a sad, cruel, and different story this is all that and so much more!!

Such an upbeat read!! Unlike other isekai, it's happy but not sickeningly so (for now). The FL is a treat and I've never seen such a sweet ML: a perfect read for a not-slow-burn, lovey-dovey, but still interesting story. Though I do find the cast a little flat, the story is intriguing, enough so that I read through it. Still, I can't stress enough how GOOD the ML is!!
