The ending of chapter 31 is ominous and intriguing because the woman seems to be wearing similar clothes to what Tiel was wearing in the ceremony so maybe it's pointing to the woman being the previous holder of the power of light although she doesn't look very well.
I want to see more of the father and his dead wife memories because when I saw that snippet of when they were kids, I became really interested.
