❑ several female side characters, but i love how only one of them fall for mc; one girl is just a teachers pet who wants monopolize mc's knowledge and the other is a cringe girlfail who keeps losing to him and i love them both

a rural army base is suddenly overrun by monsters and the cook, in a desperate attempt to fend himself against one, accidentally discovers that he can awaken powerful skills when he kills a monster
