the ml couldnt trust fl in past life coz of her connection to the royals who ended his fam. but fl made an ultimate sacrifice for him and so he turned back time to give them another chance. the fl didnt know and when she respawned she is determined to avoid ml and his fam.
Aside from flashbacks, ml started appearing on ch 80ish. And it's more focused on fl character and her queendom
I cried but I'm glad that trash suffered till the end at least. 10 yrs this man loved his partner. they created a company and everything, but after many yrs this guy's debauchery finally got to mc. when he got a cancer diagnosis, he realized he held on to this relationship long enough because they really went through a lot together. now he's setting him free but the ml is now in panic realizing what he lost
At some point you'll wonder why you like these stories. Marinating coz its still new but novel spoilers makes it feel like it'll be a good amount of angst

About the "into the rose garden" story, mc wasn't forced to be wed, he's raped constantly, forced to have a baby, and assumed it as his dead husband's since they looked alike over and over again. I was baffled he had twins TWICE.
