This story tries to be deep but just feels messy. Hale is supposed to be a scary assassin, but he turns soft way too fast for no real reason. Marine, the girl, is super naive and kind of useless. Their romance feels random and forced, like it just had to happen for the plot.
The characters don’t make much sense, and the story gets boring fast. You keep hoping it’ll get better, but it doesn’t. Honestly, it’s a waste of a cool idea.
This FL is driving me insane, she’s stuck in a toxic family that treats her like shit, & refuses to fight back. Her little sister is blind to their dad’s cruelty, & FL just takes it all. The ML is giving weird vibes talking about giving her gifts, but like why is he even so into her? What has she done to deserve that kind of attachment? It feels off. & don’t get me started on the dumb fiancé of hers. He’s so trash. Hooking up with another girl & now
Honestly, this manhwa has potential, and the plot isn’t bad, but I just didn’t like the FL. She was quite a pushover, and since she never craved lust before, suddenly craving it now made her seem like she was abusing the power. Dio should’ve never came into her life, legit using people to make wine. Leave that poor girl alone. This really wasn’t my vibe, but I’m sure others might find it interesting!
I think some people might like this story, but it wasn’t for me. The mystery at the start didn’t hold my attention, and the pacing felt slow. I didn’t feel connected to the characters, and it was hard to understand why the main guy liked a girl just because she looked like someone from his past. It just didn’t click, so I stopped reading.
