Im more of a fan of stories that focus more on romance than family troupes but if you prefer the latter I feel like you’d enjoy this, it is pretty well written and she’s actually a child and not an adult in the body of a child which we don’t get to see often

I was gonna give it the benefit of the doubt that maybe the fat and ugly was only how the og character saw herself and the mc actually would be like “uh Im not dying from unspecified disease number 55 and actually have meat in my bones…pretty neat y’all!” But no girl in chapter 3 is already I gotta lose weight to appear prettier??

I just don’t buy their romance yall it’s like I understand childhood friends can have crushes on each other but they are acting as this is the love of their life my guy I saw like 3 scenes of them together : the slap one and the Niagara Falls one and one I cannot remember and I’m suppose to buy that they are soooooo in love that 10 FUCKING years later they are still thinking about each other like she was 7 when she met him and when he left like my girl you a child
