I have read spoilers for the novel that is complete, there is no romance. However there is platonic relationship between the MC and the Frost Queen.

I have read all the chapters, there is no romance.
Especially the first chapters feel like the pace is way too fast and nothing is explained, but later chapters do get several times better, like the artist was in hurry to get to the good part and half assed the start. The art style is not my favorite but you get used to it.

I have read spoilers for the novel. The MC does form strong bonds with characters of opposite gender but not romantic ones. Multiple characters have feelings towards the MC that could be considered romantic but he is too focused on his goal to even notice.
