— fl is tossed aside by her father as he's neglectful and has never once raised or attempted to raise any of his previous children, however fl's determination to reach a certain goal breaks his shield and he comes to regret not engaging in familial love sooner.

— once fl is released from prison ml convinces her to marry him under the condition that he's allowed to harm her 10 times during their marriage, fl agrees only because she's aware he needs this marriage to conclude a contract agreement between him and her uncle, however unbeknownst to her ml plans to use a secret ability involving the blood of others to uncover the reason behind her imprisonment after burning down his childhood chapel, the information he learns changes his perspective on her.

— family kicks out fl when it's revealed she's not the real daughter but instead a fake that was placed under their care to escape poverty, obviously this ends up not being true but it's way to late by the time they realize that, also fl's ex-fiance gets upset when she doesn't want to be his puppet anymore, he realizes he might've been in denial over his feelings for her but he also realizes this to late as she's already moved on to ml.

— another one where the ml has already set expectations or speculations about fl, assuming she's a rude villainess, only to discover she is very much not that, but because of this and other circumstances fl is very devoted to the idea of them remaining in a mutual relationship with no romance, but when he's finally developed feelings he can't help but want to go back.
