Had a phenomenal start so I'm adding it but there was so much angst afterwards it actually made me drop the series. I'd still re-read the beginning tho

One of the best "misunderstandings" take. FL pretends to be in love with her family's sworn enemy to get revenge. And bc she understands, all of his prickly "attacks" don't even phase her but unfortunately for him, all his past actions bite him in the ass when he truly comes to love her.
Also, the servants are the best support group! "Master? Who needs him when the Mistress of the house is the life and heart of the north? We can't do without her!!!"
