Honestly more of a father-daughter story than a romance one, but i like the male lead’s pathetic tsundere-ness and appreciate that there was no pitting female chars together
one of my absolute favs of the genre ive read so far!!!! Its a time travel, and its p heavy on the political scheming, but the world building feels believable and they do well in portraying nuanced female chars regardless of their positioning in the story. Moreover, I absolutely adore the mc!!!!!! She’s cunning, clever and ruthless but in pursuit of righting the wrongs she committed in her past life. Its a nice example of a story where she actually holds the ‘heroine’ v dearly
also a fav!! This one is positioned as a classic for the villainess genre the same way orv is a classic for the genre of “isekai twink mc gains reverse harem with a particularly homoerotic deuteragonist” manhwas. It’s heavy on character work- the mcs previous circumstances mirrors her isekaid one p heavily, and it lends itself to a lot of hard hitting emotional moments in regards to her new family. Mc is p tough, and also somewhat cold, but also v endearing. Im a walking endorsement for the ml 2
woman decides on taking the slacker life after being exiled as the villainess but ends up working harder than anyone w the help of a KNW-type demon. Super cute!!!! A relatively light read w a nice nice romance w little to no ambiguity!!! The tone of the story leans more towards comedy than anything, and plots have been low-stakes so far!!
another one where she decides to abandon the plot altogether!Despite the looming problems that causes just at the fringes of her periphery lol but i think this story is v charming in the small scale its mc tries to tackle. Its about kindness and love and wanting to give the joy and comfort of a safe place for children in the only way she’s ever known how. Her and the magic sword she picked up have a rlly fun sibling-like dynamic and the story is so full of small whimsy tho mess is,,,catching up
one might say this is distinguished purely by the male lead’s bearded face but its also a very loving and genuinely healthy relationship where they communicate well and regard eachother as equal partners. Plotwise it’s nothing heavy, it leans more towards comedy and the mc being on her third life means that the ‘original’ plot may also not pose much problems (her second life is kinda catching up to her tho :///) i will say that the art is a bit hit or miss for me, but if u can look past that yea
also a lighthearted story where her unconscious changing of the plot ended up in a reverse harem. I appreciate that her mercenary roots are portrayed true art wise, as shes shes buff and scarred and the artist goes out of their way to always draw the callouses on her hands. She’s a really earnest character thats just getting used to being loved, in a fun lighthearted story that has no major problems so far (?!?!)
i will be honest, I recommend this for the romance before any of the plot LMAO the male lead is an ushiwaka type and him stumbling over his feelings is super funny and the romance is so sweet and nice and i kicked my feet giggling at multiple points!!!!!! This is a light hearted easy read for sure, but the genuine heart in it is so comforting!!!! I love love!!!!!!
