I am largely disappointed that this story did not center around FL and Leo (black hair). It was flimsily built so that FL could end up with Zion (white hair). Not a lot of chemistry, just a lot of friendly vibes and forced kisses. Not really satisfying of a story tbh. Setup of the story would have been better used for a different ship instead.
Boring. Super competent, super capable, super intelligent FL came to be loved by super interesting ML. Yes, I do enjoy cliche but this is just... disappointingly boring.
What annoys me the most is that most panels like to recycle the same angle for the FL's profile shot. Shot from up with head slightly tilted to reveal a slight smile, which made her look mischiveous no matter the moment or emotion that should be portrayed. SUPER ANNOYING.
It gets boring and repetitive after a while. Dropped it halfway because the story became stagnant. It feels like there will be no more new plot.
The storyline is disappointingly funny. Author built half the story for Tia to gain admirers, with lesser effort to focus romantic development with the actual ML that Tia will end up with. Rushed in 2H of the story, the story concluded lukewarmly. Wasted so many chapters on unimportant relationships. Should've put more focus on Tia and the Prince for the story to be more satisfying and redeeming.
It is not the stereotypical FL. Cold, calculative, and yet, can be merciful and just at times. Not the stereotypical story either. Author does not seek to amplify the goodness in FL, simply polishes her character to seek death. I wondered if things would be different if they manage to resurrect her. Would Alecto, Kajar, and Hubris fight to death for her? Alecto should be the most interesting arc, since he drove away a person who loved him most, only to gain a person who was never in love him.
One of the stories that is obsessed with super capable competent Queen / Empress. Moments of romance felt forced, but at least glad the Tyrant Emperor really felt bad about his behaviour (though it was at the very end).
