Actually quite an enjoyable read. She was actually loved from the beginning to the end. He mystery and pacing are fun and engaging.
I am really glad I gave this story a chance despite horrible comments. I really love the pacing and natural chain of events that unfolded. It did not feel awkward or forced or out of place. I love that both of them seem to fall in love naturally (as opposed to forced romance). The ending with the empress could've been given a bit more pace (as it was unpacked in a single chapter in a storybook setting) but that was just me nitpicking. It is a really well put together story.
I honestly do not know how I feel about this story. It has been quite a roller coaster ride. The ending was that Dylan / Dillon had always been Adeline all along. Honestly? I felt a lil cheated. I thought it was going to be a redemption / repentance arc. And that Cedric will love Dillon as she is now. Turns out, it is just another love story between Cedric and Adeline again. Granted, the plot where no matter form Adeline is, Cedric will be able to love her soul all over again is a plus point.
