read author’s note, apparently the artist took over the story around s2, and it definitely shows. the beginning was super strong, but the magic system has no limits and is overpowered. it makes sense that she doesn’t choose a love interest because they’re barely developed past the first couple dozen chapters and only serve to move the plot forward. i had high hopes for this, but i just didn’t enjoy how the story progressed and all the plot holes that are covered over by “yea that’s magic”??
