rational and realistic (and also super cool) FL who you cant help but feel for during the intense moments (it fr made me cry!). plus i think the main pair's dynamic is sooo perfect, even though i couldnt guess who she'd end up with at the beginning.
the storyline felt purposeful and well thought out, every central character feels refreshingly complex, the art is incredible. all around: quality. i read ten chapters before i realized i was already absorbed hahaha
unique plot, where the MC has to live through the events of storybooks/novels— as the villain— against his will. he turns out to be SUCH an interesting character, and the central romance he has is a sloowww burn that starts a little questionable, but you end up rooting for them with your full heart anyway.
clandestine relationships, a sprinkle of angst, secrets that build up to dramatic reveals, slowly uncovered backstories— but still so fun! straight up delicious
a manhwa that needs no introduction
at this point there are a bajillion webcomics with almost this exact plot— and do i think this is the highest quality/most well written/overall best one? probably not. but DAMN if Sung Jin‐woo doesnt do a fantastic job of being as cool as humanly possible Every. Single. Time.

i usually pride myself on good taste, but...
this one is a pure, shameless, "look how cool the MC is" manhwa.
extremely good at fighting, worldly, total chick‐magnet, and the CEO of a brand‐new company to boot. the character youre supposed to project yourself onto is so "Ideal Male Fantasy" that it feels like the author is personally reaching through the screen to jack you off.
...but who doesnt like being jacked off every once in a while? hahahahakdgsjsks
