Imperial family puppets, magic and mystery, evil masterminds played the long game. FL uses her powers for the greater good, to help ML find happiness and the world achieve peace without wars.

Very compelling story. Villainess comes back in a new body to dethrone tyrant after he had her imprisoned once he rose to the throne. Strong, calculating and manipulative FL. ML is strong and protective, preferring to take the fall for those he cares for. Enemies get taken down one by one, emperor is an insane narcissist. Imperial shake-up required. Justice served in the end.
A bit of a long read though, and the plot took time to unfold fully.

Woman regarded as the villainess fights against evil to rescue the world from eternal winter. Strong willed FL Strong and protective ML. They learn to love each other then come to terms with FL's past. Friendships worth forging, FL gets the change to show her true charm away from the underserved treatment by peers in her past. Evil magic in the bloodlines, the sister 100% gets what she deserves along with the parents, shame there wasn't more about the brother reconciling. Happy end with kids.

Rushed ending, but happy. Lots of open plots and loose ends. Caring FL, ML hides true colours. Magic and mystery, emperor needs to be taken down.

FL grows up thinking she is an illegitimate child, turns out she is a secret princess of a different country. Strong ML, FL constantly puts herself down. Secret plots, murders, her cousin is a massive red flag, but her 'adoptive' family is actually nice, kids are just cruel as kids. Imperial family system, body possession magic, evil temple.
Happy end proposal

Strong willed, small, businesswoman FL, protective ML. ML falls first and fast, goes from contractual relationship to wanting her love. Schemes embroiled with the imperial family jewels (no, not those).
Happy end, but I wish she had given in earlier and just balanced her life and love.

Very short and feels a bit rushed.
Strong FL, protective ML. FL reincarnated on the opposite side of the war she has been fighting for a long time, learns that true power is seeing the good in the world.
Romance felt a bit random, and I think they didn't have enough chapters to really flesh out everyone's backstories.

Far too short for what it could have been
Quirky FL, protective ML. FL leads innovation in women inventions and alchemy while everyone tries to tear her down and ML (and family) supports her every step of the way. Started out as a contract, but feelings bloomed. Funny, good bonds, crazy bitch was main baddie and it fizzled out. Feels like the author had to drop the story, which is a shame because I think it had potential, especially with the philosopher stone.
