Mc was a doctor in her past life and reincarnated right before the condemnation event from a novel she read in her first life. Very interesting personal background that the mc learns with the reader and while there is some "just get together already" the main characters don't drag it out too long.

Mc devoted her life to the dragon emperor as his aid in the first life but he told her to end her life (story seems to be establishing that this was a miscommunication i think) and so she does and reverses to back when she woke the dragon up, decides to live for herself and not get involved with the emperor. Emperor remembers past life and wants to make up for it (He's really going to have to put in the work)

Really excited to see where this goes. Mc is the real daughter but the fake shows up and falsifies evidence that gets the real ostracized and kicked out of her home. (fck her dad and brother for real) stays with a slave-turned soldier-turned noble who knew her as a child. (but she doesn't know that). The noble is the ml and she teaches him to read and write while getting revenge on her family.

Last chapter read: 50. Finished arc 2, super fun story and I love the romance between the two characters. Loving the breath of fresh air that is not another baby-faced ml.

The story and the author is actively working against the MC to elevate the original fl and while the mc suffers as a result its great to see her fight back at wrestle control away from the author. Great twist regarding the author and the mc's reincarnation. Male leads a bit of an ass at first but he gets better
