The initial premise of the story was very intriguing to me—martial art master turns into a concubine. However, most of the writing is comedic/goofy which makes it hard for me to immerse into the story. The jokes also don’t really hit for me, maybe because the humor just doesn’t translate well. The main character is also too dense/gullible/stupid/silly for me. It’s especially irking when she used to be a feared martial artist. def wouldn’t reread
