I define helplessness as the feeling of doom that these yanderes experience when they believe they’ll inevitably lose their SO,  and their desperate coping mechanisms against it. 

I won’t include crying yanderes who have everything under control cause that’s not really “helpless” - the crying and grovelling need to be sincere because they’re really at their wits ends.
