Well, it's not bad, but it started off with a decent pace, with other characters developing while the heroine just kind of toddled along in her do-over life. Then suddenly, prince declares his feelings and she has a quick existential crises, she acts like a fledgling teen in wuv, express machinations of the empress and then a sprint to the finish.
So, this is cute, she regresses in time to change her miserable fate, he is a stoic, but kind in his own ways. There are 'huh' moments, like how the hell did y'all not smell the crazy on the obsessive blonde, i mean, really? There are some crimes that can be covered up and some that SHOULD NOT be, don't give a shit how much you 'care', 'cuz if you cared they wouldn't have done that shit in the first place.
Well, hmm, not great, not bad...but, what was the point? Her family just went with it, I mean the emperor argued with the priest about the babies, then did exactly as the priest wanted anyway...and the priest, he did all this because he wanted the dark girl in his cage for his egotistical pleasure? Um...ew. And stop reading at chp 85, the side, so far, is idiotic.
It's cute and sweet, but can also be annoying. The aide makes stories to stir the pot of shit, the panther listens with his mouth and not his ears and the rabbit only stands up for herself when she's practicing standing up for herself. Her leopard family is cute, but the werepeople can be annoying. Also, she should have offed her mother herself for ultimate closure.
Not bad, part of the epilogue was random, but hey, why not? She is, at times, slow on the uptake, and just communicating everything would have been better, but fine, drag it out a bit for the rush to the finish. Also: Don't blame the children for their illegitimacy, blame the cheating parent and can we get some male offspring for a change, it's seems to always be girls...
She rushes off to escape being used by her family to offer her diminishing senses to someone of her choosing. They go through the ups and downs while she spirals into the void of her vanishing senses until they find out there's a way through to the other side and she can retrieve them. It's cute and sad and a lesson on how power can give and take away.
A political marriage turns to love, but they still divorce so she can stand on her own feet and choose for herself, especially after nearly facing a bad end due to the machinations of desperately greedy people. In the end they choose each other and remarry, bit of a pain in the ass, but oh well. It's not bad...
