4/5 -- idk why i didnt review this when i first read it but from what i remember the characters feel like real high schoolers so i appreciated that; arrogant, short-sighted, self-centered yet with capacities to learn from their mistakes, feel regret, fall in love, etc. -- there's imperfect kids, imperfect adults, imperfect families -- everyone in life is a work in progress
