Bromance: close relationship between guys, usually doing stereotypically romantic things.
Fanservice: content made to please female audiences, interactions akin to romance to entertain/shock. Declaration of affection, panel construction insinuating romance, physical touch. The romantic, softcore, queer, aimed at girls version of "panty shots" in the usual shounen/seinen.
BL Ships: Male × Male chemistry
#11-32 UNREVIEWED (but strong!) #33-37 dismissed by canon #38-40 weak ¦ under observation
Genre(s): Action / Fantasy / Slice Of Life / Supernatural / webtoons
BL Ship(s): Yooan (human whose soul was put inside the demon king's body) x everybody Fantasy, isekai, Korean high schooler is convinced to take the demon king's place, whose soul was kidnapped. It's like he has a male harem. That said, the story is just… very tiring. The fanservice is super strong on the first 30+ chapters but then it gets really labored. The bromance is very steady and is good and truly hard carrying the whole thing. Worth if you've nothing better to
BL Ship(s): Qiu Ning (pink hair) cheng haiyan (black hair) Sport (billiard/pool) + competition + teaming up + friendship Growing romance as main plot. A nice amount of fanservice, very intentional, seemingly. Side characters also get involved in the cycle of fanservice. (when I added it wasn't marked as shounen ai yet)
