STRONG MC

A foreign princess (our MC) is sent to be married off to the handsome crown prince....only neither of them want the marriage to go forward. Thus, when she arrives, the MC’s goal is to get the prince to call off the marriage by making him hate her....

This was cute. The princess has more personality than one might expect, which I like. People at court are annoying, etc., but there’s not a lot of plot / scheming. Pleasant, entertaining, but not riveting. (NOTE: Consider skipping the Summary!)

MC is a young, second daughter to a marquess who has spent her life raised as a disposable object. Only, on that fateful day, she somehow escapes death. Armed with her new secret weapon, she sets about trying to safe herself from her miserable circumstances.

This was brilliant. It’s very funny - a bit slice of life - with an engaging plot and lots to look forward to in the future! MC is quite clever, and handles things well when they don’t go her way. Can’t wait for more!

Good overall - cute, entertaining, just missing a detail or two. It’s slice-of-life, which I don’t mind in this case, but it bothers me that the MC doesn’t do much to protect herself, despite chances to learn / use power. Not normally an issue, but a few times she’s a damsel-in-distress, which really annoys me.
