super new but i am hooked. art style a bit wonky at times but still nice. fl tried to be special until she was told she was going to die and treated like crap by her teacher. gave up on much of life. took getting engaged to the ml who seems to be ready to marry the isekai'd heroine and her trying to avoid death for her to realize her family loves her deeply. don't know enough about ml yet but after he chose her thinking she'd be easy & they could later split cleanly he's acting a bit stalkerish.

update. looks g8. mc in way enjoyable. ml needs to be fried. mc wakes up in some historical alt world as hated empress and sensibly starts learning, handling shit, and being instantly disillusioned by her hot husband. ml is garbage, has a side ho, & wants empress to die quickly so he can make side ho empress. side ho is probs white lotus. tons of assassination attempts. apparently mc eventually wins his heart then dies but wakes up in a male body. genderbender~

It's a term for someone who puts on a pure and delicate facade but is actually a fake ass, black hearted snake ass bitch lol (it's actually kind of a sarcastic term. originally it's someone who is truly pure like a pure white lotus that blooms from the mud buuuut it's become pretty mocking in context nowadays because it's rare to actually see a character who's truly pure; it's like 98% of the time they're faking it to cover their dark side.) so it can mean either or but usually it's that they're fake
