So i read this not expecting much, but it had good reviews so i was like okay im up for a feel-good shonen ai. Goddammmmmmmit I didn’t expect to read this in one sitting it’s now 3am and im still feeling giddy after finishing it. This is toptier slowburn that just makes you giggle and kick your feet. Uke actually has a strong personality and they both slowly strive to be the best versions of themselves for each other. They are open, mature, frank, and unfiltered. I love them!!!!
I know im probably gonna get rocks thrown at me but i was kinda hesitant to read this at first cos i didn't like Haribo’s other works lol. But I'm glad i caved in on this one!!! It still has that unromantic feel that's on theme from the author’s writing style as always but the enemies to lovers plus special person treatment made me gush. They're both great characters with nice backstories the only downside is the small context side characters.
