- for whatever reason the manhwa adaptation skips a lot of world building that’s in the webnovel. basically starts off as a horror webtoon? it’s only later that you find out that the survival game was to qualify to be isekai’d to another world to work as adventurers. honestly the horror part at the beginning is a lot of fun.. mc is kind of a rat bastard which can be entertaining to read

- this might have my favourite monster character design so far! it seems like a large part of MC’s personality was tainted by the process which he got his OP powers. the way things are lining up... please say <actual dark antihero mc who is morally grey> instead of <lawful good aligned mc but he’s broody and only wears black>

- most of the mage/sorcerer webtoons kind of blend in together to some degree but if i had to pick one it would definitely be the great mage returns. and it’s fully because of the mc! his character has real depth and he’s funny AND i cried on his behalf at two different times. plus somehow the idiotic flirt milfhunter thing he’s doing is working for him (?)

- reminds me of omniscent reader’s viewpoint. it’s always fun when the MC is brought to a world where he isn’t the MC! hard to leave a review yet, kind of need more chapters

- the plot is a little bit cheesy & over the top but i’m still rooting for MC! as the only illegitimate prince of his sect, MC must compete against his more powerful siblings for the role of heir. constantly under attack, he is visited by one of his future descendants and gifted with technology to help him succeed.

- if you’re really into martial arts then this is amongst the top 5 ongoing murim webtoons so i reccomend! but if you’re not, the undefeatable swordsman doesn’t bring anything new to the table. only things that set it apart are more effort put into art and stylistic choices and mc fills the requirements to be OP but is also somehow not obnoxious or unlikeable at all! which can be a rarity .. i like him well i like him:)
