Metamorphisis

This is a little 'huh?' at first, because some information is missing, guessing the novel would fill in the blanks. So, she's an abused princess from another country who has married into a dukedom of a massive kingdom. At first, they're just co-existing, then a body swap and they start really getting to know each other. The translations waver a bit here and there, the art changes drastically, then a chapter of page fuck ups, then it all levels out to the end. Not bad overall.

It gets muddled here and there, but over all, it's not bad. I don't know if it's her age/experience (combination thereof) when she's transmigrated or what, but she could have handled several situations differently, even with a reputation for a loose and cruel woman and her not wanting to be mean. It's not the best, it's not the worst...

The translation goes from being crap to okay to crap to decent, and I'm still not sure I've grasped nuances due to the translation, but the over all gist is there. In a land of pretty boys, here comes a burly one to fill my heart with song. They are both damaged by past relationships, and she takes a little longer to get there, but it's kinda funny and cute, if you can wade through the dialogue.

Well, it's not bad, but not great, as it feels information is omitted or just overlooked via the process. She's transmigrated into the body of the villianess in a story she wrote, and if she doesn't act the part, she, and a few others, end up in a twenty-four hour loop. By the end of it, without explaining the process really, she ends up as a God on vacation... Pretty art, not bad dialogue (though the duplicates are annoying), and not a bad read, just... plot leaps.

Okay, so it starts a little off, gets better, goes off again and then better... A roller-coaster of language and its usage (or lack thereof). Still, if you've got a general grasp on the situation depicted, the plot and how English works, placing the correct word/terms isn't that great of a stretch (beggars can't be choosers, right?). She goes from nothing princess to empress with only her wit and a few hot guys and gals. Not bad... Not great... but not bad.

Wow, the story over all is okay, fairly mundane with a little plant knowledge, some mystery of murder, bad political intrigue, and stupid ass reasons for psychologically damaging a person... The translation though, uh...wow. Bad to better to tea spitting WTF to okay to better. That's why it's here.

It's not a bad little story, just a damsel and knight in need of emotional rescue. They're annoying at times, when they finally talk, they get better, but this happens more than a few times... The translations are a bit of a headache, not as bad as I've seen, but they yo-yo enough to have the tale placed here.

The story, from what I can tell, isn't all that bad, a downtrodden girl trying to come into her own with the help of people she meets along the way. The reason it's listed here: it didn't start off with a great translation, mediocre at best, but what clinched it were the pages. Fighting the dialogue plus being unable to read half of it due to the page cuts... No. I'll keep an eye on it, I suppose, but not expecting much.

It started out okay, then went to nearly indecipherable, then back to okay. Along the way, the art changed and throughout the rest of the story one song kept playing the back of my mind, Aerosmith - 'Dude Looks Like a Lady', only the other way round since the ladies look like dudes. Then there's the dragging it all out... Wow. It's kinda like: 'I suffered, you suffer too.'
