Listen. There is something so heavy and decadent about this gorgeous series. It’s deeply emotional, with a profound sense of tragedy, but has just the right amount of levity and hope to keep things from getting too dark. I like that we don’t see the entirety of FL’s childhood in this new world and instead spend most of the story with her having truly become integrated with this world.

Do not be fooled by the first chapter, this is a slow burn romance. As in, the first real kiss is in chapter 98. But the wait is worth it!!
