yes this is exactly it!!! this ending ruined the whole thing for me tbh but the ending of Color Recipe? that was it baby! even though they ended similarly on a surface level

I just read Semantic Error and it was so good! Thank you for the indirect recommendation. I agree this does feel like something you'd get if you mixed those but it unfortunately doesn't live up to the quality of either

i really hope the author didnt intend for the reader to feel sympathy for glen because i definitely did not feel anything for glen. that motherfucker should b in jail with the professor. what he did was straight up manipulation to someone he knew was reserved/lonely. and all for what? he fell in love with someone who gave him advice? fuck me silly, I should be in love with my counsellor but guess what? im not!! honestly i think the author tried to twist the ending to make it happy and show that people like glen aren't so bad but i feel like this manhwa would've have been much better if it were more on the psychological horror of it? if anyone has read any of harada's work, people know that her mangas aren't centered around 'romance', they're usually centered around psychological horror/mystery and thats what makes her work stand out because and if this webtoon took that route instead of the romance/redemption route i would have enjoyed it way more. anyways im just rambling at this point lmao
