No offense, but everyone was already spoiled about the ending (yes including the fact that Ruve was poisoned and that Duke Zenna’s the antagonist)
And while I’ll definitely be jealous of someone receiving more attention than me, especially from my own family, I wouldn’t go out of the way to berate and ASSAULT that person :/
Although Jieun thinking Tia was jealous of her was PART of the hatred, that’s not all of it. After Tia was executed, the people who gossiped about her were suddenly praising her, comparing Jieun to her and wishing Tia was the empress instead. Not only that, but Ruve redirected his abuse from Tia to Jieun (i.e. when he slapped Jieun.) A bunch of hypocrites. Jieun knew that the past-Tia was intelligent and vigilant, even on the day of her death and she HATED that she’s loved by even the people who scorned her when she was alive.

I don’t know if you guys are acting this way ( opinions on the prince) because you just don’t like him because of how he treated MC, but I’d like to clear some stuff up as someone who was reached the near end of the novel.
In the first life after MC died the prince was v upset
He had lived his whole life being compared to someone who he assumed never cared for him. Which is why he jumped at the chance when Jieun arrived in his life. He had thought that everything MC had taken from him was purposeful and out of spite. All the people in his life that were supposed to love him loved her.
And if you guys had someone like that in your lives, not knowing it wasn’t purposeful, wouldn’t you dislike them as well?
The prince was always thinking about her after she passed and always in deep regret of what he had done.

To make it even worse in this life Jieun hates MC because she thinks MC was jealous of her in the first life!
Jieun ends up in prison though, and then she apologizes
