I have to disagree. Dabi was abused by a hero and never received justice. While hawks was abused by a Villain and was served justice by his own hero, endeavour. The same person who abused Dabi and his family for years. It’s more than just choices that led them down there path.

It's interesting how the author is juxtaposing Dabi's character with Hawk's character. They both grew up in abusive households but took vastly different paths. One's past lead him to become a villain the other's lead him to become a hero.
Why? - It was their choices.
