Aaa that is why. It didn't occur to me because he somehow does not seem too attached to our ML. The whole relationship feels like it got cut off before something could bloom. Like I do not get this feeling that his feelings for our ML are that strong or deep. I get the impression that he would not even cry at break-up and he will be more like "oh well, I am sorry". And I also get this feeling that they do not match at all. Of course, these are only my impressions.
