Exactly!!! The story I think is kinda making the uke seem to be indecisive and wishy-washy but I think he’s just understandably confused and conflicted. It’s the seme who seems more flaky to me. And if the third party is treating his straight crush (who is the same type as uke) in this same way - confusing them, driving them to a corner and then abandoning them, then no wonder why they could never get together.

also maki kinda bothered me cuz it felt like he was rushing the dudes feelings and this gay world is all new to him so ofc he’s gonna be hesitant and shit. he can see he clearly likes him however he’s obviously going through shit cuz he never liked a guy before and maki just keeps leaving instead of helping him understand his feelings so yah that kinda bothered me
