I ABSOLUTELY AGREE. he is too much caught up on his selfishness, on his own conveniences, that he does not know the weight of the pain he's given to Navier. he is actually in love with her but because Navier does not act in the way that he wants, because she does not fuel his masculinity and sense of superiority rooted from his pride of being emperor and a man at that, because she is an independent woman who does not cling to him like a leach such as trashta, he feels that he has any right to treat her that way. when in reality, everything would've been settles had they talked it out. now he's gonna regret it so much when Navier leaves the empire
I don't believe learning etiquette will make them lose their sense of charm and personality, but why what do I know. Learning Manners still have thoughts what's right for themselves not changing them and still can focus on learning about themselves... But the empress have so much responsibility as a princess at young age, it's not her fault she couldn't build her personality and be cold. And the emperor didn't even talk to her properly and be oh well she changed oh no I guess I'll be not close to her cuz she is not talking casually with me, I'm not talking to her casually either and ignore her but unless it's business/family matters . Like bruh
