I feel like the commander actually liked her when she was a servant. Other wise he wouldn’t have kissed her or kept her by his side even after knowing she lied. He loved the princess but considering that the princess and the maid are both one person I don’t really see anything wrong with how it progressed
yeah but let’s be honest , he definitely would not have fallen for her as quickly before than as he did when he found out she was the princess.
