I mean his boyfriend was nearly raped once already then he got drugged so the freak could try raping his boyfriend again, can't say I'd blame him for becoming overprotective. Sitting on the sideline when you know you're boyfriend will likely be attacked again would be far worse than having him lay low and stay home for a while so things can be taken care of while he's safe.
